Alex founded LEAX UK Ltd in 1987 and grew the company to be one of the premier UK manufacturers of lighting controls equipment. LEAX UK sold and installed equipment under its own brand while also developing product ranges for other lighting companies, including Trilux GmbH and Whitecroft Lighting Ltd. LEAX UK carried out a number of wonderful projects all over the world including work for the British Museum, Windsor Castle, and projects for the Emirates Tower Hotel in Dubai, UAE. In 1999 Alex sold his interest in LEAX UK Ltd and moved to Aspen where he now lives and works. Since settling in Colorado, he has carried out projects ranging from commercial installations, including Trump’s Raffles Resort in the West Indies and Vail’s Tivoli Lodge, to many unique residential projects spread throughout Colorado, NYC, and London. In addition to focusing on the functional and aesthetic aspects of lighting designs, Alex’s interest in technological solutions allows LEAX to be a pioneer in state of the art alternative energy monitoring and controls for commercial and residential applications.

Mike Pritchard brings 10 years of Colorado based experience managing the various phases of design and construction for mountain modern residential projects and luxury resort developments. His attention to detail has continually informed a project’s design process and added to its overall success. As a licensed Architect, he is well versed in keeping the big picture in mind, while working towards perfection on the critical details of a lighting design.

After graduating from Cornell University in 1999, Mike moved to Aspen to enjoy the pleasures of the Rocky Mountains. He’s been involved with the local cycling community, most recently forming a new trails advocacy group with a mission to create and sustain the best possible mountain bike trail system in the Roaring Fork Valley.
